Service Description: Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for people with Alzheimer's disease, related dementias, an acquired brain injury, are cognitively impaired, or are frail elderly and adults with disabilities in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care

Activities include:
  • daily exercise
  • wellness programs
  • conversations and current events discussions
  • arts and crafts
  • games
  • daily hot lunch and snacks
  • outdoor programs
  • gardening
  • multi-age programs
  • visiting pets
  • music
  • assistance with personal care



Fees: $21 per day * subsidy available for eligible participants
Application: Referral through Ontario Health atHome
Eligibility / Target Population: People with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias * Ontario Health atHome care coordinators assess the needs of applicants
