Rehabilitation and healthcare services for people with low vision * supports clients in maintaining safety and independence * assistance with:- choosing low-vision aids and assistive devices for daily tasks
- learning safe methods for meal preparation and using household appliances
- techniques for organizing and identifying household items
- navigating indoor environments
- falls prevention
Specialized Services - Supports for clients to achieve long-term, advanced goals * specialists may help with developing essential skills for daily living, travelling independently, and using assistive devices
Early Intervention Services - Supports for children with low vision and their families * early interventions help families understand child’s vision loss, address concerns, identify and refer to specialized services, and transition into community activities, child care, and school
