Service Description:
|
Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation program for people who have had a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or other new neurological event
- helps patients re-learn activities of daily living
- helps with swallowing difficulties
- help with memory and thinking skills
- educates them about their health
- connects them with other community services
Treatment lasts up to 12 weeks maximum * Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality
