Medical services in Ontario must be provided or supervised by regulated health professionals. Only gastroenterologists provide colonoscopy services and the regulatory body is the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. To confirm whether a gastroenterologist is eligible to practice in Ontario, go to the public registry at: doctors.cpso.on.ca.
