Deafness and Hearing Loss - Haliburton County and City of Kawartha Lakes

Programs and services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, which may include diagnostic hearing tests, counselling, education, and the provision of hearing and communication assistance devices.

Professionally trained sign language interpreters are available to those wishing to access services through the Ontario Interpreting Service of the Canadian Hearing Society. The cost is covered by the organization or business regardless of the request.
