Service Description: Designated care home with 24-hour on-site personal care and support services to assist frail seniors and adults with physical and multiple disabilities * services include:
  • supervision with medications
  • personal care
  • emergency response system
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals

121 unfurnished one bedroom apartments and 4 two bedroom apartments * on-site facilities include beauty salon, tuck shop, activity program, social club, tenant gardens, common areas, recreation hall * housekeeping and meals on a pay per use basis

42 one bedroom unfurnished apartments with balconies for older adults * on-site activity program, beauty salon, tuck shop, tenant gardens, common areas, social club, recreation hall, lunch and dinner meals, weekly laundry and daily housekeeping

28 bed-sitting rooms, 4 one bedroom apartments, no kitchen facility * unfurnished apartments for senior citizens * on-site activity program, beauty salon, tuck shop, tenant gardens, common areas, social club, recreation hall, all meals and snacks, weekly laundry and daily housekeeping

Fees: Charge for senior housing varies, check with administrative assistant for services fees * rent-geared-to-income units available * Assisted Living/Supportive Housing is 100% funded by Ontario Health atHome, so there is no charge to clients, applicants must first be tenants of Legion Village Housing * applicants are subject to an assessment process to determine eligibility and there is a waiting list for services
