Service Description: Provides assessment and group treatment to medically stable adults, aged 18-65, whose level of functioning has been severely impaired * Intensive 8 week group therapy treatment program with an extension of an additional 4 weeks, for clients who have been on the inpatient unit or visited the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) at Lakeridge Health Oshawa * Therapeutic groups explore such themes as interpersonal relationships, anxiety and stress management, depression management, communication and self-esteem, loss and grief resolutions * Telephone assessments and virtual group sessions offered.
