Service Description: One-on-one and group support, as well as counselling for caregivers and families * assistance to people facing challenges related to personal well-being, relationships, family issues, parenting, aging, grief and loss, care-giving, separation/divorce, or any form of abuse including elder abuse and domestic violence * specialized counselling programs include:

Violence Against Women Program -  One-on-one, longer-term counselling to women and their children who are victims of violence and whose safety is deemed to be at risk

Sexual Abuse Program - To enable women and children who have been sexually abused to find healing and hope through counselling to reduce the effects of trauma

Peaceful Families Groups - To support mothers and children, ages 4 and older, whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence

Caregiver Support - One-on-one and group support, as well as counselling for caregivers

Employee Assistance Program - Employees of an organization or their families are helped through counselling, to improve the employee's home life, personal benefit and work performance

Social Work - Professional, confidential short-term strengths-based one-on-one counselling supporting a person, couple, family and parental development and growth

Choices and Changes Group - 10 week group for women who want to explore their patterns of choosing partners entitled Creating Safe and Healthy Relationships

Fees: Based on sliding scale according to household income
