Service Description: Health centre focused on family and community health * health professionals assess and treat non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses * referrals to other local health services and personal development groups

Community-led health teams develop programs to improve the social supports and conditions that affect long-term health * services include:
  • medical care
  • nutrition counseling and support
  • mental health counseling and therapeutic groups
  • diabetes education in collaboration with the Ross Memorial Hospital Health First Diabetes Education Team
  • smoking cessation

Foot Care Clinics:
  • several times a month in Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls and Lindsay

Good Food Box:
  • orders taken at the Community Health Centre on second Tue each month * pickup on third Tue each month * pickup takes place at 21 Angeline St N, Lindsay, ON K9V 5B7 

Sage Advice and Gentle Exercises for Seniors:
  • volunteer-led exercise program geared towards improving senior functional fitness

GAIN (Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network) for the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Highlands: 
  • the GAIN team can visit frail and at-risk older adults in their homes

Fees: Most medical services covered by OHIP * some fees for other programs
