Service Description:
|
Not-for-profit national healthcare organization, offering rehabilitation therapy and healthcare services for people with vision loss * programs offered include:
- Independent Living Skills - provides instruction to the visually impaired on how to adjust their lifestyle for their visual impairment, including performing everyday tasks such as cooking, organizing a home and personal grooming.
- Client Navigation - client navigators guide clients through services within the organization and other health care and community services that can provide assistance
- Low Vision Services - a low vision specialist will show clients how to make the most of their remaining sight.
- Orientation and Mobility - professional instructors give individual instruction to help clients move around safely and independently.
