Service Description: Safer Spaces: Hoarding Support * Provides hoarding psychoeducation/clutter coaching services to individuals who require assistance with preventing eviction and addressing hoarding challenges * helps with improving safety, decision-making, and developing a home maintenance plan

Restored Homes: Extreme Cleaning * Works with individuals in the community at risk of losing their housing due to unsanitary living conditions * will discard and declutter items in homes and provide a deep cleaning to reduce risk and stabilize housing

Fees: Free
Application: Self-referral and community referrals accepted * referrals mainly through website www.vha.ca
Eligibility / Target Population: Low income adults 18 years and older living in Durham region. Must consent to service and be physically and mentally prepared to engage in hoarding support program * clients must wish to retain their housing
