Service Description: Transitional care centre that assists residents and caregivers with the transition from hospital to home, caregiver relief and while waiting for an alternate care setting.

Capacity : 27 beds

Aims to provide an environment promoting recovery and respite care * short-term stays only - 1 to 90 days * specially designed and available for individuals for the following purposes:
  • Recuperating from surgical procedures or medical conditions
  • Caregiver who needs professional care for a loved one while away
  • Waiting for admission into long term care home facility

Services include:
  • nursing and personal care
  • assistance with daily living such as bathing and dressing
  • medication administration
  • meals
  • housekeeping services

Fees: Private suite $275 per night * semi-private suite $185 per night
Application: Call for application
Eligibility / Target Population: anyone requiring short term stay, 1-90 days; longer period upon need assessment
