Service Description: A regional chapter of Autism Ontario, this organization ensures that every individual with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is provided the means to achieve quality of life as a respected member of society.

To provide information, support, friendship and more to families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Autism Ontario-Durham Region holds monthly support groups for both families of children 0-15 and for families of young adults aged 16+ * Operates a Young Adult Social Group for ages 18-35 * Holds events for individuals and  families living with autism and awareness events as well.


Meeting: Monthly Family/Caregiver Support Groups for parents of children and adults
Monthly Chapter Leadership Council meetings - open to the public
Fees: $50 annual fee for individuals/family * $90 annual fee for professionals * $250 for agencies
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: individuals with autism spectrum disorder or have a family members with autism spectrum disorder
